Aspen has always been known for its elevated culinary scene, yet Snowmass Village is the best kept secret by locals after a day on the mountain. After the continued success of Base Camp Bar & Grill and Slice of Italy owner, David Dugan, wanted to provide Snowmass Village with the best sushi in the valley. With expert sushi chef, Matt Draper, and a dynamic menu, Saké opened in 2016 to an eager crowd.
Dugan admits, "You should never let your taste buds run your restaurant, but in this case I couldn't help myself." The result has been a wonderful blend of fine dining and high casual pan asian. "Our goal is to offer creative, well-executed, accessible food, as well as an extensive sake menu and pairings."
